This October, we are thrilled to celebrate our 10th birthday since our launch, and what a remarkable journey it has been! With new additions to the marketing team this year, we have grown our marketing department and creativity.

Let us take a glimpse back at our 10 years of marketing ventures…

21st October 2013: Vicky starts Nimble Media

Having worked in media and events for a number of companies, Nimble Media’s director, Vicky Binley, took the decision to launch a new company in 2013. She wanted to take all the likes and learnings of how people should be treated. Having the authority to apply the positive examples to one company, she aimed (and succeeded) to embrace flexible working practices and to have a workplace that was a joy to be in.

June 2016: Station to Station Queen’s celebration

Nimble Media launched a website, social media and radio campaigns, reaching an audience of over 3.5 million people - as part of the Station to Station Queens Celebration to celebrate HM Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday.

30th September 2016: Big Railway Diversity Challenge

The BRDC, launched in 2016, hosts over 600 rail industry colleagues competing in a series of mental, physical and skill-based challenges. Nimble Media delivered a successful media campaign to reach across the rail industry for the Women in Rail Big Rail Diversity Challenge, with proven success shown in 80% growth since launch

2017: CAFs manufacturing facility

Having assisted Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) with their marketing and communications strategy since 2017, Nimble have played a key part in breaking news from the company and was delighted to advance the partnership through events. In 2017, Nimble Media broke the story that Spanish train and tram manufacturer Construcciones y Auxiliar de Ferrocarriles (CAF) was to invest £30m to build a new factory in Newport, Wales, with the creation of 300 new jobs.

December 2020: Reverse Advent Calendar

Since our beginning, Nimble Media have been proud to work with some incredible charities – both locally and nationally. In 2020, we supported Women in Rail in launching their Reverse Advent Calendar initiative (now run annually). Highlighted by the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, Nimble Media and Women in Rail encourage colleagues, contacts and social media followers to donate one item for every day of advent to their local food bank (or refuge).

October 2021: Rail Week

With just four weeks' notice, Nimble Media delivered a campaign to launch over 100 individual events across the UK for the Young Rail Professionals’ ‘Rail Week’ initiative - to include social media marketing, email campaigns and press releases to promote the industry and inspire the next generation

TODAY: Our passion is growing every day

Fast forward to today, we are celebrating our 10 year anniversary with our Nimble army. Continuing to be ‘Ridiculously Creative’ in our everyday mission, we are advancing with our Marketing & PR adventures and supporting more businesses in their own mission of commercial creativity.

That was a very brief overview of our journey; if we listed all of our creations, you wouldn’t have read this far! As we celebrate 10 years of Nimble, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and everyone of you, thank you for being a part of this incredible journey.
